Florida Gators quarterback Jalen Kitna, son of former NFL star Jon Kitna, was arrested in Florida on Wednesday on child pornography charges, TMZ reported.

A representative from the Gainesville Police Department said Kitna was booked on a total of five different charges including two counts of distribution of child exploitation material as well as three counts ofpossession of child pornography, according toTMZ Sports. Nineteen-year-old Kitna was processed at roughly 3:20 p.m. EST and currently remains in police custody. No further details surrounding his arrest or upcoming court dates have been revealed.

Kitna has been indefinitely suspended from the team, according to TMZ.

Kitna appeared in four games for the University of Florida and logged his best performance to date during a game against EWU where he threw for 152 yards and a touchdown, according to TMZ Sports.
